Solar Energy Options

We harvest energy from the sun (as does every living thing on this planet) in order to survive. Energy wise we harvest the sun's warmth to heat water and this uses the sun’s heat in the form of radiation. Electricity uses solar panels to harvest the sunlight and radiation to create electricity from this radiation.

Water Energy Options

Hydro Power comes from vast amounts ducted water through a turbine vane which drives an alternator or loosely known as a generator. This can drive many megawatts of power. Steam Power comes from superheated steam being directed to turbine blades which rotate, turning the alternator. This can create many GigaWatts of power. This steam is often generated by the archaic coal-fired boiler method, or of late; the newer riskier nuclear heat source method. In either form of heating, the energy doing the work is WATER simply because that’s what steam reverts back to.

Wind Energy Options

Wind is the most unpredictable energy in the world today. It’s there or it’s not.  Having said this, when it’s there, it blows day and night, making it a viable method to charge batteries. There are very many methods of getting the wind to power turbine generators, with great variance in effectiveness, but to date, the most effective of these is propeller type blades which are long and as light as their construction can safely permit. As the wind attacks the propeller blades, they begin to rotate, in so doing rotating the turbine, which produces power.

Generator Energy Options

A generator is a device which produces energy of various types as a result of input stimulation. For an electric power generator, this can be from wind, water or carbon fuel like petrol or diesel. In all cases, the Generator spins, and passes through magnetic fields within its casing, and this produces power.

Hydrogen Energy Options

HYDROGEN gas in usable quantity is manufactured from splitting water (H²O) and releasing the oxygen. This process is varied, with different applications in abundance. The end result is always H²O (Water) converting into two molecules of hydrogen (HH) and oxygen (O). In its HH form, without air or oxygen, hydrogen is not easily combustible. When exposed to air or oxygen, hydrogen is an energetic fuel – it burns fast and intensely. Herein lays the hydrogen magic. Once burnt, it reverts to its original state- WATER! Hydrogen produces no toxic gas in its exhaust fume.

Biogas Energy Options

Biogas is formed by breeding methane producing bacteria. The bacteria can only survive in an environment that has no air or oxygen (anaerobic -meaning no air) – they get their oxygen from the waste they are fed by you. This waste is animal and human dung, vegetables, cooking oil, waste foods, old paper “they love reading the news”; in fact anything that is able to decay or make compost. These little fellows create all kinds of magic throughout their lifespan. These bacteria eat fast and as they eat they excrete methane gas.

Wood Gas Reactor (Gasifiers) Energy Options

Cheric Energy can custom-build your wood gas reactor to suit your requirements. Our wood gas generator design uses stainless steel and high-temperature ceramic components, and we truly believe it is far more efficient than fossil fuel despite the 70% power reduction, in that it can produce hot air as well as very hot water in a single unit.
